POLITICO President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will address the nation on Monday at the Capitol, the White House announced Tuesday.

The White House had not yet released details of the remarks.

Trump, who was sworn in as president in January, has promised to focus on economic development, immigration reform, and other issues.

Pence, who will take the helm as his vice president in his first weeks in office, will also address the House.

The vice president will make a statement at the State of the Union address on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Pence is scheduled to meet with leaders of the U.S. Congress and other senior officials at the White Senate Office Building.
